The add-in can be removed from Word by clicking the Insert tab, then going to My Add-ins:
In the window that opens you should see Sciwheel listed, just click the options (3 dots) icon to reveal the remove option. For some versions of Office where the add-in was installed by your institution, Sciwheel may appear in a section labelled Admin Managed.
